It is the purpose of this site to inform and enlighten your Average Surfer regarding the theatre. Plays are wonderful things, and, hopefully, this site can reflect that majesty in a non-copyright-infringing manner.

This site contains information on the foremost playwrights of history, from ancient times to the present. By information, I mean biographies, pictures (if possible) and famous works, not to mention links. I hope that this might be used as a reference site, or springboard for something or other.
